I’m Jon Busby, a UK-based portrait photographer and founder of The Portrait Kitchen, specialising in editorial photography for milliners and hat designers.

My work draws inspiration from fashion photography, with an emphasis on creative lighting, composition and experimentation. The hat is always the hero.

I use Lightroom Cloud for RAW processing, colour grading and image management, with Evoto for portrait retouching. I’m particularly interested in developing efficient, connected workflows that give photographers more time to concentrate on creating images.
